Bilateral Initiative Greek Council for Refugees – Drop in the Ocean (Dråpen i Havet)

Through the initiative were implemented two training workshops in volunteer engagements and capacity training in the field of child protection and child case management. The first was a “Train the trainer” workshop that took place in Athens on how to engage volunteers in different capacities and sustain their interest long term. The second one was a joint training for first line professionals and volunteers in the field, for child protection, child safeguarding and case management via ZOOM due to Covid-19 restrictions. The curriculum included theory and case studies, handouts and exercises related to their experiences, trainer and peer feedback on personal and skill development.
