Bilateral Initiative Victoria Square Project – KRAFT Bergen in Bergen

The initiative focused on networking and transfer of knowledge, experience and best practices, as a result of an ongoing process of identifying a new emerging European Identity through contemporary art, community engagement and civic participation. The main goal was to link the public dialogue Market Square in Bergen and Victoria Square in Athens. This initiative is described as a bridge between the north and the south of Europe, with Greece being the country of entrance for migrants and refugees, and Norway being an ideal final destination, strengthening the civil society and active citizenship based on the common values of respect for human dignity, democracy, equality.
