Active Citizens Fund Greece at Europride 2024

Active Citizens Fund Greece and the Norwegian Embassy in Athens participated in Europride 2024, which took place in Thessaloniki on 28-29 June 2024. Europride, one of the most important events for the rights and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community, was the ideal opportunity to celebrate equality, acceptance and social inclusion together.

At Active Citizens Fund Greece’s stand, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the programme’s work and activities, which focus on supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in Greece. Through the promotion of social inclusion, Active Citizens Fund Greece actively contributes to the creation of a more equal and inclusive society for all citizens.

The programme has funded and supported initiatives that promote the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, strengthening the effort to combat discrimination and build a society that embraces diversity.
