“Gender Equality: A key for economic and social development in Europe and beyond”

Do you represent an organisation with solid experience in Gender Equality issues based in Greece? Are you interested to participate to a two-days conference on Gender Equality in Reykjavik, Iceland, on 31 October and 1 November 2019 and exchange experiences with other organisations from different European countries?

If the answer to all the questions is yes, you can find more information and apply by September 16, 2019.

Only 1 organization from Greece will be selected to participate and all related costs will be covered from the Active Citizens Fund for Greece.

The conference is organized by the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Comissão para a Cidadania e a Igualdade de Género (Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality) and the Norwegian Equality and Anti-Discrimination Ombud.

The aim is to:

– bring together agents of change for gender equality in the Beneficiary and Donor States and foster potential future co-operation under the EEA Grants

– introduce successful tools and techniques in the field of gender equality, in particular the Nordic approach

– facilitate transfer of best practices from Iceland, Portugal, Norway and the Beneficiary States.
