Livestreaming Capacity Building Success Stories

The session invites Civil Society Organisations to draw inspiration from other CSOs about the ways in which capacity building initiatives can help them to increase their impact and promote their resilience and sustainability.

Civil Society Organisations funded by the EEA Grants Active Citizens Fund programmes in several countries will share their stories of capacity building and explain how they contributed to their organisational development: whether it concerns transfer of international expertise to the local context, the development of fundraising strategies or more, the Capacity Building opportunities provided within the EEA Grants Active Citizens Fund programmes are a valuable resource that are supporting CSOs to achieve their goals in today’s challenging and unpredictable environment.

The session, which will take place in English, is organised in the framework of a regional Capacity Building workshop jointly organized by the Fund Operators of EEA Grants Active Citizens Fund in Greece, Portugal and Romania.

The Active Citizens Fund in Greece is supported through a € 13.5m grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of the EEA Grants 2014 – 2021. The program aims to develop the sustainability and capacity of the civil society sector in Greece, and to strengthen its role in promoting and safeguarding democratic procedures, active citizenship and human rights. The Fund Operator for the Active Citizens Fund in Greece is Bodossaki Foundation in consortium with SolidarityNow.

The session will be held online on Tuesday 22nd November 2022, 16:00 -17:00.
