Association of Research and Education in Clinical Skills (ARECS)

The aims of the Association of Research and Education in Clinical Skills (ARECS) are:

1. A) Research in the field of modern educational process for the learning of clinical skills, the implementation and evaluation of innovative training frameworks
2. B) The training in clinical skills of students of Health Sciences
3. C) The training of teachers of clinical skills in Schools of Health Sciences
4. D) The organization of clinical skills workshops, the support and provision of educational material
5. E) The publication of books and manuals related to the field of clinical skills, as well as audiovisual material.

Furthermore, Association of Research and Education in Clinical Skills (ARECS) takes actions that include:

1. A) The organization of trainings related to the subject
2. B) The holding of events and interventions to inform the citizens about the role of clinical skills in maintaining health
3. C) Information campaigns and publication of printed and electronic material.

Especially in recent years, Association of Research and Education in Clinical Skills (ARECS)  focuses on the training of health professionals, through the involvement of its members and the relevant research project SMiLe (Interreg Greece – Bulgaria) on the access of people with disabilities to Primary Health Care.
