The project entitled “Access to the rights of Roma Women and promotion of the rights of Roma children” has the aim to inform and educating Roma women about their and their children’s rights such as to have access to health, education and the labor market. In order to achieve the goal of the project, informational events and campaigns will be held within the Nea Zoi settlement in Sofades Karditsa and announcements will be made in the mass media and on social media.

At the same time an Office of Employment & Liaison with the Labor Market wil operate within the settlement with the aim of promoting Roma women to work. Through individual and group sessions by specialized employment counselors, the organization will try to promote Roma women to work, either as farm workers, or by developing business activity through the creation of Social Enterprises, or by promoting them abroad in countries where there is a demand for workers, with main destinations Cyprus and Germany.
